Guess not, If they have the money I guess they can pay. In my case I met new friends on a free dating site and never asked me for a payment. Got tired of paying $20-$40 before on other site and some other site wants me to pay for everything I want to do like chat for $1 for an hour on their chatroom. If your tired and want to try free dating sites I recommend vvvvvv.DateUs,tk , I guess their network is not limited on the United States but as Europe as well. Worth a try

The sad truth is that less than 20% of the profiles on these pay sites are subscribed members. The bad part is that all of the pay sites hold one facet or another for ransom. E-harmony wont allow you to see your "matches" pictures unless you subscribe. Match and Yahoo both force you to pay to communicate. I use "plentyoffish", and so far the results have surpassed that of all the pay sites I have paid for combined.

@chibilisious - yes it's a popular misconception. They need to wake up to reality. In the Philippines, most Filipinas prefer Filipino guys. I don't know if it's like that in other Asian countries.

My advice for the guy questioning free dating sites and not getting any responces is "Get Active!" Post a blog, forum post, whatever…so singles can see you active on the site.
